It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Dykema (Saint Charles, Michigan), born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on March 16, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Robert S. Curtis and Caryl Van Houten; and her brothers-in-law, Art Van Houten and Alvin Dykema. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Danburg (Rik), Brian Dykema and Mark Dykema; her grandchildren, Curtis Danburg (Danielle), Jarrid Danburg (Kristina), Jeff Dykema (Tatiane), Jon Dykema (Rachel) and Aaron Dykema; and her sisters-in-law, Berniece Dykema and Fran Vryhof (Wesley). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that donations can be made, in lieu of flowers, to the St. Charles District Library for their new building fund.
