With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David A. Smith of Saint Charles, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adrian Smith and Wilma Smith (Delbridge); his brother Bob; his wife Kathleen Palmer of North Star; his children, Barry Ray Smith (Stephanie) of St. Charles, Andrew David Smith (Sue) of Pascoag and Melissa Ann Griffin (Bob) of Saginaw; his grandchildren, Ethan Daly, Marin Grace, Cameron Mitchel and Shelby Adison; and his great grandchild Jace Michael.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crossroads Church (7090 S Graham Rd, St Charles, MI 48655). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
