He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Floyd and Louise Brookins (Wellman); his in-laws, Martin and Margaret Beiler; his brother-in-law Fred Batcke; his niece Cori Batcke; and his nephew Kevin Batcke.
He is survived by: his children, Jodi Fisher (Paul), Michael Brookins (Amy) and Julie Prins (Eric); his grandchildren, Audrey Brookins, Nicholas Brookins, Max Fisher (Alysha Burns), Katie Fisher, Ben Fisher, Rachel Prins, Margaret Prins and Thomas Prins; his sisters, Mary Riffel (Larry) and Dorothy Batcke; his sisters-in-law, Diane Fischer (Clyde) and Patty Latty (Dale); and his caregivers, Derrick, Tony, Delaney, Maddy and Erik. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (1035 N River Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609).
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests any donations be given to Bill's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
