Vicky Garza Obituary

Passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at her residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 54 years. She was born November 23, 1968, in Saginaw, Michigan to Jose Garza and Corina Cavazos Garza.

Vickey attended Saginaw Public Schools. She was always an extremely sweet and loving mother and grandmother, who was always one to "say it how it was.". Vickey loved spending her days with her grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors in the nature of its beauty, shopping, and watching movies. Vickey was always thrilled to attend birthday parties and barbeques; she loved to eat good food. Vickey's final days were spent living in her mother's home.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Crystal Garza-Teneyuque, and Stephanie Singh; two sons, Michael and Zachary Hernandez; four stepchildren, Cherish Ward, Tanya Duma, John Hernandez, and Joe Hernandez; seven grandchildren, Corina, Victoria, Natalya, Luciano, Manual, Simar, and Nishan; they all reside in various parts of Michigan; four sisters, Iris, Val, Kelly, and Lisa; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; daughter-in-law, Carol Teneyuque, and son-in-law, Tony Singh.

Vickey was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Corina Garza; nephews, Manny and Micheal; two brothers, Joe and Jimmy; stepdaughter, Lisa, and the love of her life, John Wayne Hernandez.
