Thomas C. Boetefuer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas C. Boetefuer (Saginaw, Michigan), born in Bay City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Boetefuer and Ella [Kuch] Boetefuer; his siblings, Carol Gromaski, Allan Boetefuer, Virginia Rawluszki, Norman Boetefuer and Orlo Boetefuer; his parents-in-law, Lorina and Herb Rosenbrock; and his brothers-in-law, Delbert Rosenbrock, Bill Szwed and Bob Kraska.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Rosenbrock of John's Lutheran Church; his son Timothy [Rochelle] Boetefuer; his grandsons, Timothy and Trenton; his son Brian [Danielle] Boetefuer; his grandchildren, Carter, Chloe and Ella; his son Scott Boetefuer [Taylor Punches]; his grandchildren, Fletcher and Fisher; his siblings-in-law, Bill [Bunny] Rosenbrock, Alvin [Eileen] Rosenbrock, Elmer Rosenbrock, Pudge [Kelly] Rosenbrock, Kathy Szwed, Jeanie [Jerry] Wittkopp, Mary [Tom] Idzior and Julieann Rosenbrock; and his nieces and nephews, Kristen, Joel and Mike Boetefuer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church-Beaver. During the COVID pandemic, he volunteered to deliver boxes of commodity food items to senior citizen shut-ins in northern Bay County every month for two years, 2020 to 2022, on behalf of the Bay County Department on Aging.
