In loving memory of Theresa E. Markva (Saginaw, Michigan), who departed this world on October 2, 2024 at the age of 87. Theresa leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Marker and Anna Marker; her former husband R. Michael Markva; and her siblings, Max, Nicholas, Mike, Joseph, Pete, Karl, John Marker, Annie Saunderson, Eva Proulx, Elizabeth Guzinski and Marion Marker.

She is survived by: her sister Delores Ferworn of Pennsylvania; her friends, Royce, Vicki and Jerry; and her husband Butch. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.

“I met Teri at St Josaphat Church many years ago. I saw here sitting by herself at Mass each Sunday and invited her to join the Rosary Group which I headed at the time. We became friends. We lost contact for many years until we both became residents at Independence Village where we both lived. She was a wonderful person and I will miss seeing her around here. May her soul rest in peace. From Mary M. McPhee”
