She was predeceased by: her husband John Forrest Hughes (Jack); her parents, Harry Robert Kull and Helen Emma Dorothy Kull (Edelhoff); her sisters, Marilyn Brown of Rapid City, MI and Pauline Saltzgaber of St Simons Island, GA; and her parents-in-law, Forrest and Juanita Hughes of Pinckney, MI..
She is survived by: her children, John C. (Andrea Hughes), Carolyn (Robert Richards), Robert (Jennifer Hughes), Sarah (Robert Ek) and Paula (Peter Peltier); her grandchildren, Lauren, Callen, Helen, Christopher, Madelyn, Phoebe, Lillian, William and Shane; her great grandchildren, Addison, Sloan, Oliver and Carson; her brother Robert; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Kull and Judith Ondrejka (Hughes). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
