She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Green Moton and Larna Bolden Moton; her husband Fletcher Clark; her children, Deanna Sue Clark, Nathaniel Clark and Thomas Leland Clark; her grandchildren, Anthony Williams and Serina Clark; her siblings, Charles Moton, John Arthur Moton, Susie C. Moton, Rosena Ford (James), Leonzy Porter (LuVinson) and Frances Carter (John); her brother-in-law Lorenza Short; and her nieces, Diane Short and Kathleen Melton.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin Moton Castaic (Christine) and Debra McCune (Tommie); her sister Mamie Short of Saginaw; her grandchildren, Derrick Clark, Veronica Moton and Leland Moton; and her stepdaughter Shirley Peoples. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
