With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruben Marcelo Zavala of Saginaw, Michigan, born in Bay City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2024 at the age of 32. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ernesto, Esmergilda Olivarez, Jesus and Beatrice Zavala; his uncles, Robert Zavala and Sonny Olivarez; his niece Isabelle Zavala; his close friends, Santino Medina, Jacob Dufrain and Rafael Campos; and his pet Wedo.
He is survived by: his parents, Juan Zavala Sr. and Perla Olivarez (Juan); his children, Isabella Zavala and Ruben Zavala Jr.; the mother of his children Abigail Schultz; his siblings, Patricia Zavala (Roy Aranjo), Juan Zavala Jr. (Tiffany Velasquez), Chuy Zavala (Darci) and Kuko Zavala (Kelly); and his nieces and nephews, Jesse Zavala of Antonio Zavala, Facundo, Marcello Zavala, Miguel Zavala, Priscilla Waroff (Eric), Alicia Christe (Benjamin), Olivia Zavala, Sophia Facundo, Rubia Zavala, Abigail Zavala, Ryanna and Tiana Zavala. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
