He was predeceased by: his daughter Shelly Abbott; his granddaughter Ashley Abbott; and his siblings, Margaret Christian (Jack) and George Moody (Neva). He is survived by: his spouse Jackie Hegenauer; his sons, Rick (Kathy) and Mike (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ric (Krista), Jen (Chuck), Trisha (Dan), Mallory (Nicholas) and Isabel; and his pet Barney. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (6400 McCarty Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
