He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Baxter and Mary Elaine Owens (Schultz); his stepparents, Olive Baxter and Ray Owens; and his father-in-law Myron J. Franz.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Franz; his son James Baxter (Amy); his granddaughter Isla Jane Baxter; his siblings, Brenda Cook (Bill) and Steven Owens (Barbara Warnke); his stepsiblings, Dianne German, Don McCrumb (Joanne) and Dean McCrumb (Roxanne); his mother-in-law Jane Franz; and his brother-in-law John Franz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family STRONGLY REQUESTS donations to Grace Christian School specified for the ongoing Christian Education of Isla Baxter.
