She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Young and Anna Young (Unger); and her son Mark J. Krause. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Krause; her children, Christine Hutchinson and Brad Krause (Julie); her grandsons, Christopher Hutchinson II (Savannah) and Robert Hutchinson (Megan VanOchten); her great grandchildren, Raymond Killips, Christopher Hutchinson III and Claire Hutchinson; and her siblings-in-law, Loren Krause (Trina) and Sharon Schoenow. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors (4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
