He is survived by: his children, Barbara Leal and Paul Leal (Doris); his grandchildren, Leslie Heap (Colin), Sarah Varney, Max Leal and Alec Leal; his great grandchild Ariel Leal; and his sisters, Lila Vargas and Goya Delgado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
