With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence E. Tappen Sr. (Saginaw, Michigan), who passed away on December 5, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Tappen and Tilley Tappen (Meyer); his wife Marilyn Rausch; his stepchildren, Robert Sharon III and Martha Poineau; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Tappen and Johnna Dittmar.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence 'Butch' Tappen, Jr. (Carol), James 'Jim' Tappen (Nancy), George Tappen (Corina), Robert Tappen (Cheri), Patricia Rausch (Ervin), Susan Rolka (Larry) and Mark Tappen (Tammy); and his stepchildren, Kay Moore, Ervin Glenn, Marsha Lopez (Louis) and Gerald Rausch (Carla). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
