He was predeceased by : his parents, George Ranney and Lucille Ranney (Conway); his sisters, Candace Ranney and Cheryl Darcy Ranney; and his nephews, Craig Beyer, BJ Andreini and Conrad Pustelnik.

He is survived by : his daughter Shauna Engel (KJ) of West Branch; his granddaughter Reese; and his brothers, George Jr. Ranney of Lupton and Kelvin Ranney (Judi) of West Branch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
