He is survived by: his parents, Joe Mendez and Audelia A. Mendez (Argumedo); his wife Renee Mendez (Premo); his children, Angela (Josh), Jacquelyn, Rusty and Joe; his grandchildren, Miguel, Brooklyn, Cash and Riley; and his sisters, Josie Mendoza (Oscar), Mary Medel, Lucy Gonzalez (William), Augustina De La (Manuel) and Cecilia O'Bard (Frank). He is also survived by many friends and extended family.
