He was predeceased by: his sisters, Doris Fowler (Al) and Evelyn Knoll (Gerald); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Machleid (Rich) and Jack Fehrenbach. He is survived by: his wife Betty D. Hoffmann of Bridgeport; his brothers, David Hoffmann (Mary) of Bridgeport and Lee Hoffmann (Barb) of Bridgeport; and his sisters-in-law, Doloris Fehrenbach of Saginaw and Judy Rosencrans (Bill) of Saginaw. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Faith Lutheran Church and the Bridgeport Beautification Program.
