She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Leppek and Joyce Leppek (Putman); her brother-in-law John Mark Silvernale; and her stepson Michael Cohee. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Solek; her children, Scott Higbee (Marilyn) and Nicole Hartwig-Pook (Steven); her grandchildren, Arjay Gaurino, Benjamin and Larissa Pook; her siblings, Gayla McMinn (James), Victoria Goodell (James), Kathy Silvernale and Michael Leppek; and her brother-in-law Duane Solek.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snow Funeral Home (3775 N Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
