Jean Marie Weiss Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Marie Weiss (Saginaw, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Witherspoon and Ollie Witherspoon (Detgen); her husband Dr. Arno W. Weiss Sr.; and her siblings, Arnold, Norman, Robert, Richard, Kenneth Witherspoon and Arlene Brown.
She is survived by: her sisters, Karen Whitehead of Brookhaven, Georgia and Diane Reinke (Dale) of Sandusky, Michigan.; her stepchildren, Dr. Arno Weiss Jr. (Jill) and Cheryl Sokol; and her nieces and nephews, Tamie, John Owens of Sandusky, Gregg and Gretchen Witherspoon of Saginaw.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (3427 Adams Ave, Saginaw, MI 48602). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oakwood Memorial (5950 Gratiot Rd, Saginaw, MI 48638).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Adult Choir at Peace Lutheran Church or the Port Hope Area Historical Society in Port Hope, Michigan in Jean's name. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at http://www.skorupskis.com.
