He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin LaDrig and Lorrain LaDrig (Smith); and his siblings, Joanne Slabaugh, Mike LaDrig, Mary LaDrig and Paul LaDrig.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Compeau; his children, James LaDrig (Irene), John LaDrig (Brenda), Bill LaDrig (Katie), Jamie Carle, Barbie LaDrig, Robert LaDrig (Angie) and Joseph LaDrig; and his brother Thomas LaDrig. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1525 S Washington Ave, Saginaw, MI 48601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the United States Army and VFW Post 1859.
