He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shipman and Dolar Shipman; his daughter Alice D. Shipman; and his granddaughter Tori T. Shipman. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Shipman (Donna), Charles McKinley (Annie) and Grady H. Shipman (Frances); his siblings, Janet Holden of Cincinnati, OH, Jurline Duncan, Patricia Slater (Eugene) and Johnny Shipman of Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Lydia Bishop of Saginaw, MI and Ruby Boykins. He is also survived by grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
