She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gilbert and Margaret Gilbert (Wagner). She is survived by: her daughters, Bambi (Greg Straebel), Heidi (Vince Chernich) and Aimee Hayes; her grandchildren, Rachel (Nate), Jessica (Jake), Quaid (Alicia), Briana, Alysa, Alexis (Sophie), Trey (Kelsi), Cassidy (Eliseo) and Cerise; her great grandchildren, Jayce, Chloe, Harper, Lakon, Evelyn, Victory, Mateo, Acacia, Montez and Natasha; her sisters, Marge Hayes (Bill) and Kathy Poineau; her grandson V. J.; her siblings, Charles, Thomas and Nancy; and her in-laws, Morgan and Anna Hayes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (121 S Harrison St, Saginaw, MI 48602). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
