With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine I. (Doud) Smith (Saginaw, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Doud and Helen Doud (Novak); her husband Alfred F. Smith Sr.; her brother Thomas Doud (Reba); and her brother-in-law Ray Highsmith.
She is survived by: her children, Ben Smith and Loretta Martens (Kevin); her grandson Nathan Martens; and her sisters, Joan Highsmith and Dolores Ledtke (Jim).
