She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Lee; her grandchild Kalita Walden; her parent Luewanna Layton; her aunts and uncles, Marylene Hodge, Helen Ford, Charles Layton, Murphy Layton and Donald Holden; her parents-in-law, Lewis and Ann Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Ouida Johnson, Clarence, Tyrone and Tony Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Ricky Johnson; her daughter Margaret Layton; her granddaughter Dr. Jai Layton (Byrdie); her daughters, Latramese Jones and Sentaria Johnson; her grandchildren, Daryl Noel, Darrius Noel and Diamond Tolliver; her siblings, Art and Geraldine Owens; her close friend Shirell (Robert); her sister Darnell; her aunts, Sammie Lee Bryd, Dorthy Ann Brown and Louise Jones; her uncle Aaron Holden (Daisy); her brother-in-law Randy Johnson; and her friends, Gene, Connie Plowden, Cathy Linton (Al), Tracy, Billy Ware, Lametria Smith (Russell) and Jane Crayton (DeMarco). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own children; special friends.
