She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Merriam and Rosetta Merriam (Turner); her husband George Benton Brown Sr.; her son George Benton Brown Jr.; and her brothers, Archie Merriam and Kenneth Merriam.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Brown (Ruthann), Jeremy Brown (Souk) and Kim Gurnsey (Dennis); her daughter-in-law Richelle Brown-Hartwig; her grandchildren, Jerald Brown, George Brown III, Marcus Brown, Kevin Brown, Charleeann Brown, Zachary Rausch, Samantha Rausch, Chloe Brown-Hartwig, Iris Inthalath, Attila Juhasz, Georgianna Gurnsey and Jeremy Gurnsey; her great grandchildren, Clara Jean Brown, Brinley Brown, Randy-Lynn Brown and Georgia-Kate Brown; her brother Ronald Merriam (Sara); and her sister-in-law Karen Merriam. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Deisler Funeral Home (2233 Hemmeter Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
