She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Kennedy and Caroline Kennedy; and her husband Larry D. Fortier. She is survived by: her children, Renee Waldron (Dave) of Saginaw, Larry Fortier (Diane) of Traverse City and Cassie Vervinck (Rich) of Saginaw; her grandchildren, Amy Rohde (Renny), Melissa Moore (Steve), Jeremy Waldron (Jamie), Ashley Fortier (Brent), Aaron Fortier (Grace), Randall Griebel (Cherish), Christina Ennis (Jake), Mike Vervinck (Monique), Mitch Vervinck (Marissa) and Jeff Waldron (Missy); her great grandchildren, Emma (Hunter), Miranda, Deion, Logan, Brianna, Austin, Nick (Tina), Chase (Lisa), Linkenn, Sebastian, Hudson, Jayce, Cole, Kayden, Connor, Owen, Oaklynn, Otto and Caleb; her great great grandchildren, Oliver, Maisyn and Maggie; her siblings, Mary Frost, Sharon Johnson (Tom) and Jerry Kennedy (Debbie); her pets, Smokie, Bubba and Marley; and her friends, L. Case and Miller Rd. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (1035 N River Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609).
