He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie William and Arlette Root; and his brother Rodney Root. He is survived by: his wife Terri Root; his daughter Jamie Walderzak (Matt); his grandchildren, Michael Gutierrez Jr., Rhea and Ellie Walderzak; his sisters-in-law, Linda Quaal and Joette Doozan (Frank); and his friends, Tracey Bridges and Launstein. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles.
