She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Mae (Armentrout) and Ray Clifford Strouse; her spouse Rev. H. Dean Vander Veen; and her brother Charles Strouse. She is survived by: her children, Robin Lynn Tyndall of Saginaw, Gary Dean Vander Veen (Margarite) of Harrison and Deanne Rae Vander Veen of Birch Run; her grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher (Autumn), Stephanie (Mark), Tucker (Rachel), Marsha, Justin (Maria), Jason (Heather), Chad (Angie), Jamie and Tim (Pam); and her siblings, Esther Randle, Marlene Root and Leonard Strouse. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
