He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Messing and Alma Messing; his wife Rose Mary Messing (Kolar) of Ruth; his child Glen (Paula); his grandsons, Mitchell (Tiffany), Alex (Kendra) and Perry (Nina); his great grandchildren, Remington (Kristin), Abigail and Devin (Kelly); his siblings, Rita, Beatrice, Diane, Rosie, Evelyn, Bernadette, Viola, Howard, Dennis and Ernie; and also, Logan, Sophia, Landon, Lily, Genevieve, Carter, Jackson, Charlotte, Celeste, Addison, Annabelle, Coraline, Pauline Rzepecki-Troy (Joe), Matt (Alison), Rose, Beth Haynes-Caseville (Jeff), Dan (Porschelle), Kylee, Olivia, Amanda (Steve), Cooper, Codie-Bad Axe, Jinger-Ann Arbor, Todd (Deb), Camay Booms-Ubly (Brad), Blane, Connor, Clayton (Victoria), Scott (Tammy), Cole and Wade.
Due to the Covid virus, there will be no memorial services or Mass for Russ.
