It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Glen Maxwell of Ruth, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Maxwell and Sophia Maxwell (Kuyt); and his sister Eleanor Shick (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Maxwell (Metcalf); his children, Ardith, Alan Rouse, Jim Maxwell, Kathy Smith, Lori, Gene Finch, Amy, Darrell Helsley, Tracy Merlington, Rex and Sarah Maxwell; his grandchildren, Kent MacDonald (Radine), Amanda MacDonald, Veronica Meyers (Justin), Caitlin Rouse, Joshua Rouse (Alexis), Robert Rouse, Tony Finch, Chelsea Reeder (Michael), Dylan Finch, Brooke Merlington, Taylor Merlington, Katelynn Fletcher and Hannah Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Parker, Paisley, Patrick, Austyn, Jessica, Landon, Hailey, Madison and Arabella; his siblings, Winifred Van Dyke (Don) and Frank Maxwell (Judene); and his brother-in-law Verne Metcalf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
