He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Nixon and Margaret Nixon (Dillingham); and his siblings, Robbie Nixon and Barbara Nixon Strong. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Nixon; his children, John Nixon (Maggie) and Judith Coldicott (Brian); his grandchildren, James, Alexander, William and Katelyn; his great grandchildren, Charlie and Jozlyn; and his brother Edward Nixon (Sandy).
