He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Michael II and Edith Mabel Jarvie (Cartwright); his brother Otis Jarvie; and his wife Clara Jo. He is survived by: his children, Henry Michael Jarvie IV (Conna), Ypsilanti, Jeffrey Jarvie of Milan, Michigan and Jennifer Howton (Ric) of Whitmore Lake, Michigan; his siblings, Robert Jarvie of Madison, Wisconsin, Paulette Ross (Eugene) of Rudyard and Prudence Allen (Jim) of Rudyard; and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Jarvie of Ludington, Michigan and Elizabeth Whiting of Ann Arbor. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
