She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Barrett and Pearl Barrett. She is survived by: her husband Calvin Sleeman; her children, Janet Kinney (Steve), Craig Sleeman (Julie) and Geoffrey Sleeman (Mary); her grandchildren, Mark Sleeman, Michael Sleeman, Nora Sleeman and Devin Murray (Jacob); and her sister Carolyn Lennington (late Bob).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Royal Oak (320 W 7th St, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In honor of Virginia's generous and caring spirit, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Royal Oak or Cass Community Social Services, organizations close to her heart.
