He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Erica Boettcher; his children, Lily and Murphy; his parents, Marilyn Joyce Boettcher (Pavelek) and Thomas Willard Boettcher; his parents-in-law, Rozanne Oehring and Edwin Oehring; and his siblings, Cherie Boettcher, Kevin Boettcher (Jenny) and Andrea Traylor.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Utica (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (44633 Utica Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
