He was predeceased by: his spouse Jessie; his son Ken; and his siblings, Sophie (Steve), Joseph (Lillian), Chester (Eugenia) and Ted (Deanna).
He is survived by: his son John (Pamela); his grandchildren, Taylar Mical (Ben) and Brad (Anna); and his sons, Vasu and Rodgers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, a loving extended family and many treasured friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church (2500 E 12 Mile Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071).
