The memory of Patricia Hanson of Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on December 5, 2024 at the age of 99, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Gifford T. Hanson; her parents, Mary "Mimi" McDougall and Patrick Codyre; her sister Margaret Stock (Codyre); and her son Jeffrey Gifford Hanson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lauren Hanson and Barbara Dean (Hanson); her children-in-law, Dr. Christophe Dean and Ruth Hanson (Smith); her grandchildren, Dr. Jonathan Dean (Julie), Jamie Dean Dusina (Frank), Nathan Hanson and Dayna Mager (Matt); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Charlie, Sloane Dean, Devon Dusina, Luella, Chase, Ruby and Boden Mager; and her nieces, Lynn Kucharski (Bill), Noralee Nelson, Kathy Keith, Sheila Bucchianeri (Jim), Maureen Stock (Mike Badalementi) and Andra Stock.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Clawson (1368 N Crooks Rd, Clawson, MI 48017). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (730 S Lafayette Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48067).

She had a passion for going to garage sales (fondly referring to this as "garage-ing"), purchasing treasures to share with family and friends and often donating items to various charities.
