He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Moran and Philomene Moran; his siblings, Tom Moran and Patty Forster; and his brother-in-law Brian Forster.

He is survived by: his significant other Patty; his children, Jennifer Williams-Bulkeley (David), Michael (Heather) and Jamie (Lorie); his grandchildren, Ben, Henry, Mary, Alexander, Hugh, Lily, Harper and Finn; his siblings, Cathy Rutledge (Alvin), Mary Barr (Lon), Lucy Gorski (Bob) and Joe Moran (Beth); and his sons, Vasu and Rodgers.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (630 Harmon St, Birmingham, MI 48009).
