She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Miinning and Marietta Miinning; her husband Gerald R. Hier; her son Daniel John Hier; her brother Donald Minning; and her nephew David J. Minning.
She is survived by: her son Gerald A. Hier (Kaile Sniderman); her stepgrandson Phoenix; her sister-in-law Sharon Minning; her nephew Michael Minning (Charlotte); and her nieces, Karen Minning-Moceri (Richard) and Monica Minning.
