Lawrence J. Bunting Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence J. Bunting of Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bunting and Clara Bunting (McGee); and his brother Charlie Bunting. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dombrowski; his daughters, Katie Trexler (Mark) of Royal Oak, Kristen Lintner (Andy) of Pleasant Ridge and Laura Presti (Bryan) of Pleasant Ridge; his sister Diane Wollam (Tom) of Ottawa Lake; and his grandchildren, Claire, Brynn, Juliette Trexler, Evelyn, Danny Lintner, Charlotte and Josephine Presti.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A prayer was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (730 S Lafayette Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Capuchins (https://www.thecapuchins.org) or Wounded Warrior Project.
