Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Gritenas and Joana Gritenas; and his wife Bernice. He is survived by: his children, Marguerite Donahue (James), Karen Chirello and John M. Gritenas (Shari); his brother-in-law Dennis Sinauskas (Cheryl); and his sons, Vasu and Rodgers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073). A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
