It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Szerdi (Royal Oak, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Brown and Loretta Brown; and her brother Norman Brown. She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Szerdi and Douglas Szerdi (Laura); her grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffrey (Amie), Jackie (PJ), Sydney (Austin), Winnifred, Matthew, Amanda (Nathan), Steven, Melissa, Rachel and Valerie; her great grandchildren, Liliana, Evan, Ezekiel and Levi; and also, Maureen and Peter Walsh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
