He is survived by: his children, Jessie D. Swinea III (Jennifer) and Kristin Swinea; his grandchildren, Jamie Hoover (Ryan), Jessie D. Swinea IV (Maria), Jerika Lanpher (Dale), Mary Riutta (Jake), Alec Shirk, Colin Shirk, Jayden, Kylee, Kolton, Ava, Arianna, Dani-May and Adalynn; his sister Nancy Allen; his friend Dennis Dobosz; his close friend John Kunz; and his friend Jess.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons - Price Chapel (3725 Rochester Rd, Troy, MI 48083). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
