George C. Bonnier Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George C. Bonnier (Royal Oak, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George; and his siblings, Ronald Prater, Maria Panagopoulos, Paula Ortago and Cynthia Shimmell.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Thornber and Adam Thornber; his siblings, John Bonnier (Sally), Charles Bonnier (Cindy), Nina Bonnier and Koula Joyce (Jeff); and his former wife Marie Burgess. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Donations in lieu of flowers accepted for the continued care of George's sister, Nina Bonnier, by checks payable to Koula Joyce with Memo note "for Nina".
