He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bentley and Thelma Bentley; his son Donnie; and his siblings, Jack, Robert, James, Jean and Jane.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Rankin); his children, Kenny of Royal Oak, Johnnie (Judith) of Royal Oak and Ron of Madison Heights; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Stephanie and Kati; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Aubrey, Kenadie, Kayleigh, Conner and Weston.
