It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fran Metcalf (Royal Oak, Michigan), born in West Springfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Fran may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard John Metcalf; her daughter Marsha Lee; and her parents, Abner Boggs and Drusilla Boggs. She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Alexander; her grandson Scott Alexander (Beckie Alexander) of Westfield, IN; and her great grandchildren, Gabriella and Austin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
