We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Sheldon (Royal Oak, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred; and her son Robert. She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Ivory and Carol Sheldon; her grandchildren, Meghan Ivory Vince (Alan), Jaime Ivory (Daren), Lauren Ivory Smyk (Rostyslaw), Greg Sheldon (Megan), Juli Dreifuss (David) and Michael Sheldon (Jessi); her great grandchildren, Linnaea, Leland, Isaac, Whitney, Lanie, Benny, Marnie, Jackson and Sammi; her niece Cathy Field; and also Sarah Fruck.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the National Shrine.
Memorials contribution may be made to the Royal Oak Rotary Club in the name of the Fred and Dorothy Sheldon Scholarship Fund (P.O. Box 745 Royal Oak, MI 48068) or the Tri - Community Coalition Bob Sheldon Scholarship Fund (2820 W. 12 Mile Rd Berkley, Mi 48072).
