He was predeceased by: his parent Irene Grace Campau. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Abigail Schlie (David), Rebecca Efird (Andrew) and John Difatta (Maria); his grandchildren, Emma, Benjamin, Steven, Evelyn, Gianna, Lucia and Gavin; and his siblings, John Difatta (Anita) and Carrie Monroy (Ron Kramer). He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-laws; many nieces and nephews; and beloved cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Home (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (30003 Ryan Rd, Warren, MI 48092). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Warren, Michigan and earmarked for the Holy Cross Food Pantry.
