He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Ruff McLellan; his children, Jessica McLellan and Daniel McLellan (E. J.); his siblings, Don McLellan (Christine) and Patricia Mitchell (Robert); his grandsons, Dylan, Daniel, Henry, Samuel McLellan and Max Vanderwerff; his stepdaughter Jenifer Snow; his stepgrandchildren, Atticus and Odin Hilts; his stepdaughter Alicia Snow (Rodney Norburg); his stepgrandchildren, Clara and Annica Kelley; and his former wife Mary Jo. He is also survived by four nieces and a nephew, nine grand nieces and nephews, and two great grand nephews.
