It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chester Robert Stempien (Royal Oak, Michigan), born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix and Rose; his wife Maxine; and his brothers, Edward, Thaddeus and Leonard.

He is survived by: his children, Rosanne (Sam), Robert (Gigi) and Joel; his grandchildren, Sarah, Jack, Emma, Alyssa and Laura; his great grandchild Eli; and his sons, Vasu and Rodgers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Regis Catholic Church (3695 Lincoln Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301).
