She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gross and Etna MacTaggart. She is survived by: her husband James Thomas Goodrich; her children, Ann Brown (Larry), Diane Eldridge (Robert) and Frank (Crista Allen); her stepchildren, James (Caroline), Lisa Klick (Michael), Cindy Read (Richard) and Brandon (Annalisa); her grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan and McKenna; her stepgrandchildren, Brighid Stone (Matt), Cailin, James, Brenna, Juliet, Haley, Mable Rose and Truman; her sisters, Nancy Wood (Edward) and Patricia Chatterson (Bruce); and her many Pineau.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Royal Oak (320 W 7th St, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Janie's honor would be deeply appreciated at one (or both) of the following: Royal Oak First United Methodist Outreach on 7th , which provides services to people experiencing food insecurity and homelessness in the community, offering a hot lunch and a bagged meal every weekday, year-round.
